Street Light Outages
Dear Editor:
 I would like to submit the following suggestion in letter to the editor format for consideration by those who can act upon it.

I walk quite often in the early evening hours and have come across several street lights that come off and on quite often.  I have called Cumberland Electric to report the outages a few times to no avail.

Here is a suggestion that might rectify that issue.  Is there a way that White House Police Officers on patrol can make a note of street lights that are out or turning on and off and report them to the proper authority to get the lights fixed.  I do not mean officers responding to calls, but those who are on patrol in neighborhoods to be sure they are safe.  Obviously, the street lights do create a degree of safety for people like me and for residents who are now in the dark.
