Political poll pet peeve

Dear Drew,

I read your editorials often. I enjoy you talking about your child Wes. I must say I was not a hands on dad when my children were small. I admire a husband that helps mom with the children. Well, that is not the reason I am writing today.

I have a pet peeve about political polls. I personally think that the media should not give out the numbers of a candidate no matter what party they are on. Those voters that do not have candidate savvy. Those who have not educated themselves with the issues of the candidate may be swayed by the poll numbers.

I believe there are those out there that regardless of the qualification of the candidate on either side would vote for the one that the pollsters say is ahead in the polls just so they could say that they voted for the winner.
