Police Academy is An Awesome Experience!
I just wanted to say thanks to the White House Police Department. I just completed the Citizen’s Police Academy and it was a great experience. My family and I have only lived in White House for a year and a half. I’ve had the opportunity to live in several other communities and cities, like Hendersonville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Miami, FL and Omaha, Nebraska. What attracted us to White House was the small town and friendly residents. We hope to make White House our home for several years. When I saw the opportunity to participate in the Citizens Police Academy I jumped at it. Some people only see police officers from the back seat of a cruiser or during their time in traffic school. Through the Citizens Police Academy I learned how and why the Police Department operates. I learned how to protect myself, my family and our home. Everything from personal safety, to identify theft to home security. And the experience of the shooting range and doing a police ride along with Officer Maynard was awesome. Many of the officers participated in the police academy by leading classes. I would like to not only encourage citizens of White House to participate in the Citizens Police Academy but encourage everyone to support our public servants. These men and ladies spend countless hours making sure our streets and community are safe. They do this so that we can be more informed, help prevent crime and protect ourselves. They go above and beyond their commitment to serve and protect our great community of White House. Hats off to our awesome Police Department and a special thanks to Captain Mingledorff!

Unlawful conduct
Parents and citizens need to be aware that a facility that gets taxpayer funding may be guilty of breaking the law. An undercover video has just been released documenting a client presenting herself as a 14 year old pregnant girl who has a 31 year old boyfriend. She wants a secret abortion so her parents do not find out. The counselor in the Planned Parenthood clinic in Memphis counsels her how to go to a judge and lie about the boyfriend’s age if asked and get him to sign a consent form bypassing the parental notification law. She does not report this to police as a statutory rape case. This client is in need of protection and not from her parents. Not only is Planned Parenthood interfering with the parent/child relationship but encouraging unlawful activities. And to think that in Tennessee our legislators allow them to get over one million taxpayer dollars to continue their operation. This is not an isolated incident since this undercover operation has been done in three states and six clinics with all the same result. When will we say enough!
