Lady Devils fall to Smith County
By Mark McCammon
Smith County defeated White House last Tuesday night 61-35. The host owls made seven three- pointers in the first half, racing to a 44-18 halftime lead. White House (4-7) dropped their third consecutive game in a row.

Senior Megan Roberson continued her good all around play with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Courtney Jamison added 9 points on (3) three pointers. 6 ft 8 sophomore Kayci Ferris led the owls with 18 points.

“I thought we came out a little slow. We picked it up a little more in the second half. Our goal was to pick up some fouls on Kayci Ferris which we really didn't do a good job of in the first half, but we came out hard in the second half and just tried to do what we could,” said senior Roberson.
