Blue Devils outscore DCA

Eleven players scored for White House (14-5) in their 60-48 victory over DCA January 29. DCA kept the game close throughout but White House prevailed by outscoring the hosts 17-11 in the final quarter to stay tied with Station Camp for the district lead at 6-1.

Jeremy Barnes,Chad Neal and Rob Poindexter led the team in scoring with 8 points each. Barnes scored his 1,000th high school varsity point early in the first quarter on a layup. Garrett Wood played well with 6 points, 7 rebounds, and led the team with 4 assists.

"It was good to get a win with Gaines (Rogers Gaines) playing limited minutes. We definetly need to have him healthy going into the tourney. We played good in spurts but we have to be more consistent if we want to have success going into the tournaments," said Barnes.
